Journalism is a big tent, encompassing many types of news coverage, including hard and soft news, advocacy journalism and criticism. Because of this, people in this career can move around under that tent in many different roles—editor, reporter, author, blogger or even teacher. Careers in journalism offer flexibility, openness and mobility. Students will gain skills, not just one job after this program.
