Ariel Flugum

Ariel Flugum is a creative storyteller from Kennesaw, Georgia. She holds a bachelor’s degree in international affairs from Georgia Southern University. Her enthusiasm to understand the world, and the diverse people that fill it, led her to become a flight attendant for American Airlines. After her time in the sky, she transitioned to the recruitment team at Grand Circle Travel where her passion for advertising was realized through recruitment marketing, brand development, and creative concepting. Her realization and insatiable curiosity about the world led her to pursue a Master of Science degree in advertising at Boston University. She works as the marketing assistant for the university’s Fitness Center and she is eager to make her mark on the world through advertising. As president of the COM Graduate Council, Ariel will strive to help enhance the experience of all COM graduate students by working to ensure their time at Boston University is enjoyable, memorable, and worthwhile.
