Sokhean Ouk

After 10+ years as a professional sushi chef from Portland, Maine, Sokhean went to pursue a BA in Media Studies along with minors in Video Production and Information Communication Technology at the University of Southern Maine (Class of 2017). During his undergraduate career he received the Maine Broadcasters Award and interned at Lone Wolf Media, a local production house that has produced many documentaries on various TV networks such as the Discovery Channel. Enjoying all aspects of the creative art of film and photography, he is now at Boston University for his MFA in Cinema and Video Production. Also a freelancer under his brand, Hi its Jonny, he has worked on TV/Web commercials, documentaries, weddings and various other projects. He enjoys cooking and developing stories to hopefully produce with a team of other artists. With his personal, professional and academic experiences both from being a chef, videographer and student, he hopes to help others develop their professional careers through collaboration and first hand experiences.
