Debbie Danielpour is a College of Communication assistant professor for film and television, and a 2011 and 2017 recipient of the College of Communication’s Teacher of the Year award.
Danielpour has taught film and fiction writing for more than 20 years — at San Francisco State University, Harvard University, and Emerson College where she created the Screenwriting Certificate Program, as well as in a variety of workshops and seminars in the United States, Europe and South America. She has written feature and television scripts (STAND ACCUSED, HALFWAY SOMEWHERE ELSE, HIS LAST GAME, WE’RE ALL HERE) and published fiction and essays, and works as a freelance consultant for film production companies.
Her seventh motion picture screenplay currently in development, Danielpour is also working with Assistant Professor Garland Waller on the limited television series, MAKE IT STOP.
