Prior to BU

I went a long way before enrolling at BU. After graduating high school, I’ve spent one year, studying mathematics and mechanics at Moscow State University. Then, I realized, that I am no longer interested in math, and went back to Kazakhstan, to start my university education over again, but with new major. I decided became a Journalist. After 2.5 years I took a part in education abroad program and came to the University of Wyoming as an exchange student. After spending one semester at UW, I realized, that continuing and finishing my bachelor’s degree in US would be more beneficial for me. Therefore, I transferred all my credits and finished degree in one year.

Why Journalism

I applied to MS in Journalism program to gain more specific knowledge in Journalism – the field, that I am in love with. Moreover, I believe, that having master’s degree, would boost my career, too.

Most Looking Forward To

I would like to get a good, high-quality education and hands-on experience in real Journalism through internships during my education.

After Graduation

Th first few years after graduation from BU I would like to complete online MBA program. At the same time I would like to find a job as a journalist in India, and spend there at least a year to explore local culture and travel the country as much as possible.
