Prior To BU:
As an undergrad, my focus was on documentary film, global cinema, and the melodrama. I was also an intern at Pittsburgh Filmmakers where I mainly edited short docs.
Over the summer I travelled to Europe (The Netherlands, France and Belgium) for vacation and ate lots of smoked salmon.
Why Film & TV Studies:
I was drawn to the programs focus on both film and TV as worthy fields of study. Studying the two keeps in mind the hybridity and forward thinking nature of visual media.
Looking Forward To:
I’m looking forward to being close to the water! Boston is such a beautiful city in large part because of its aquatic history.
After BU:
My dream job would be to work in the world of global cinema. Balancing a love for traveling and cinema, working for a festival like Cannes would be amazing, or better yet making a film that gets into Cannes!
