I am a director, producer and writer. I’ve directed several short films that have screened at national and international film festivals, including The New Orleans Film Festival. I have an extensive background in the field of casting, including two seasons on the CBS show Criminal Minds. In Boston, I’ve worked with CP Casting on several film projects, including Black Mass, Live by Night, Detroit, and the Oscar Winning Best Picture Spotlight.

I encourage my students to think deeply about how they can use all aspects of production to create engaging characters and stories. In my classes, students explore the power of visual storytelling to create empathy, to challenge conventional thinking, and to forge a connection between character and viewer.

Never stop challenging yourself. Never stop learning. Never stop shooting. Remember that with every frame you shoot your artistic eye, skills, and voice will continue to grow.
