- FT 303: Understanding Television
Research Interests Summary:
My research interests generally focus on representation (gender, sexuality, race, etc.) on television and the ways it coincides with larger culture, specifically with fans and fandoms . In this way, I explore the connection between what is produced and circulated among audiences and how that information is processed in larger cultural hierarchies. Ultimately, I hope to gain a better understanding of these processes and continue writing about representation on television, whether academically or journalistically.
