Prior To BU:
I actually studied at BU COM last year as an MS Television student, but I discovered a love of teaching and research while I was in the program, so I decided to apply to BU’s Film and Television Studies MFA, and was really happy to be accepted! When I return in the fall, I’ll be coming back from BU’s Sydney Film Festival and Internship Program, which I’m attending this summer. I’ll also have finished my MS in Television.
Why Film & TV Studies:
I love research, writing and teaching, and I want to get my PhD and become a professor, so going into a more academia-focused program seemed like my next step. I also really love working with Dr. Jaramillo and Dr. Decker, and I really think I’ll fit well into the department.
Looking Forward To:
I’m looking forward to working with the faculty in the department, and exploring Boston more and more.
After Graduation:
Getting my PhD and becoming a faculty member at a small liberal arts college, or small college of arts and sciences/communication within a larger university.
A Bit About Me:
I’ve been working on an idea for a TV series idea for over ten years. Someday I’ll get it made. ;)
