Research Interests Summary:

My research interests lie in representation on screen. Why and how are characters of different genders, races, ages, classes, and sexual orientations used in different ways in both film and television. I am interested in not only a cultural studies approach to this topic, but also how industrial practices and genre studies intersect with representation.
