Research Interests Summary:

My research interests include regulation, gender performance, and American cultural history. Specifically, I am interested in how film and television record, influence, and create history and how on-screen representations inform personal and national identity. I’m also passionate about media literacy education and policy. Outside of the classroom, I work at the Tsai Performance Center as a full-time theater technician.
